Fifty years after the consecration at the Hotel Cecil, the Lodge published A Jubilee Review<\/em> to record its first half-century.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

The surviving Jubilee booklet is only twelve pages long, but it preserves a remarkable snapshot of Ulster Lodge at fifty. It contains the Lodge’s early history, the succession of Past Masters, its honorary members, the 1953 officers and a brief account of the Lodge of Instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n

The booklet also shows how strongly the Lodge still understood itself through its Ulster connections. It was a London Lodge, but one conscious of the people and Masonic relationships that linked it to Ireland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
